Located in “Bigfoot Country”, old jeep trails and forest service roads can be found in this area. Most trails are so overgrown with thick forest vegetation it’s nearly impossible to go very far. The main entrance road has steep drop-offs, rocky sections and low overhanging tree branches and there are no turnaround opportunities for passenger vehicles. Once you go in you have to go way in, and watch out! The famous Patterson-Gimlin Bigfoot footage was shot about 20 miles from here.
