There are two entrances to this area, the lower camp and the upper camp. The upper camp is dry and rocky, has a very rough access road with no signs or directions (bear right at the fork!) and offers only two campsites, both primitive. The upper camp is not recommended for RV or trailers.
While the upper camp does have more trails, the lower camp offers much easier access and more room for RVs and trailers. This camp has developed campsites with tables, fire rings and direct access to the creek. Look for an opening in at the back of the campground to find a motorcycle trail that follows the creek and leads to two great swimming holes (first hole is 1/4 mile in, waterfall is 1/4 mile past that).
You can ride from the lower camp to the upper camp by following the lower camp access road right through the campground, across the curved bridge and up over the ridge (make no turns). Follow the road about 7 miles to the upper camp area.
