My wife and kids love riding on the four-wheeler with me but, it wasn’t until I got an ATV rear seat, the best accessory for riding passengers were they truly able to relax and feel comfortable enough to fully enjoy the ride.

Notice that accessory manufactures refer to ATV rear seats as “loungers” and “trunks”. They do this because technically you’re not suppose to ride 2-up on a quad that’s not designed for passengers. It states right on the ATV safety sticker, “Warning: Never Ride a Passenger.” Since accessory manufactures don’t want to infer you break the rules they had to label these accessories something else.
Things to consider when riding 2-up with an ATV passenger seat:
•The passenger sits considerably higher then you. Always take that into account when driving under low hanging objects or low clearance obstacles.
•The back of the 4-wheeler becomes significantly heavier. Avoid steep inclines. The ability to flip the quad over backwards becomes MUCH more likely.
