There are two main trails here. The first is a power line road and is mostly wide hard pack, and the second is about 3 miles of pure single track. The single track trail is mostly smooth and it winds through dense pine conifer forest. The whole area is pretty small, and is open for day use only, but the scenery is top notch, and camping can be found at nearby Luter Pass, Blackwood Canyon & Watson Lake campgrounds. Note that this trail system is regularly patrolled by rangers who check for stickers and spark arrestors.
