For the 4×4 guys looking to install the best lift kit for serious ATV mudding there’s one brand that can claim that title and that’s High Lifter. The reason is because, not only does HighLifter provide a great product but they also have the largest fitment selection, along with a staff 100% dedicated to engineering, producing and supporting ATV lift kits. Lift kits are not just an additional product line that High Lifter offers…it is their product line and all their resources revolve around it.
Standard Lift Kits
High Lifter’s standard kits are steel brackets that bolt onto your ATV’s upper shock mounts extending it downward moving the position of where the shock mounts lower on the frame which forces the ATV to lift up 2 inches.
Signature Series Lift Kits
High Lifter’s Signature Series kits in theory work the same as the standard lift kits but instead of the smaller brackets they come with a larger custom bracket that extends across the frame of the machine tying the mounts together providing more strength and stability. Plus the bracket sports a sweet laser cut High Lifter logo…so everyone knows you installed the best.
For most applications the Signature Series offers 2 inches of lift, but for Polaris quads I did notice that 3 inch lift kits are available which include new A-arms (for the applications I was looking at, newer Sportsman models).

ATV Lift Kit Knowledge
Two inch lift kits for the most part are plenty of lift for riders who love to go mudding. It will allow 28 inch and depending on the model of ATV 30 inch tires to be mounted. A rule of thumb, anytime you install a lift kit make sure to check the axles for binding. The bets way to do this is to lift the quad completely off the ground so that the wheels are at full sag, then spin each wheel. If you hear or feel any binding you’ll have to install aftermarket axles made for lift kits. There’s no other way around it.
