How to plug a tire using a Stop N Go Tire Plugger.
Having plugged my fair share of ATV tires I know what a hassle it can become. That’s why I’m always game for a new tool that makes that job easier and that’s why I’m shedding some light on the Stop & Go Tire Plugger tool. This tool is a great addition to any trail kit. This kit includes all the tools necessary to plug a tubeless tire.
What’s unique about this tool, besides the engineering magic of the tool itself, is the design of the plug. The one end of the plug has a mushroom head that when it’s inserted in the tire becomes seated against the inside of the tire wall. This feature sets this style of plug far apart from traditional plugs used on tubeless tires.
With the rubber mushroom head feature the plug not only does the plug do a better job of sealing the hole, it also makes it near impossible for the plug to become extracted while riding. And because of the mushroom design this plug style makes a better option for plugging punctures in the sidewall of a tire, which are the toughest to keep sealed.
In the end, just the pure pleasure of not having to deal with tire compound goo, trying to get a sticky plug threaded into plug tool or accidently pushing the plug to far in and losing it in the tire is a win for me. Stop and Go’s Tire Plugger is just one of the tools that are a must have for any quads tire repair kit.
