What’s the coolest thing about UTV cab enclosures? Every day is a good day to ride! It don’t get much better than walking out into the garage, climbing into your side by side and driving out into the rain or snow and come back to the garage hours later and step out of the cab in the same condition you left in. Imagine the possibilities!
Can-Am Commander Cab Enclosures
UTV cab enclosures come is several combinations. Most kits include a design that provides a windshield, top, rear window and doors. Windshields are made with an acrylic, clear vinyl or Lexan material. Fabric cabs are made with weather resistant fabrics such as fabrics made by Cordura, Denier nylons and marine grade polyester fabrics. Hard UTV enclosures are made with ABS and TPO type plastics. Fabric doors use heavy duty YKK zippers to secure them to the enclosure and plastic doors utilize a handle and latch mechanism.
Most brands offer black or camouflage fabric selection. A select few brands use a tan color fabric and brands like Mammoth offer multiple colors to match the OEM color of your UTV.
Price points range from low $200’s to $1,000 for fabric enclosures and hard plastic enclosures can get into the $3,500 range. Biggest factors that affect price are, which model of UTV the enclosure is for, which type of windows were used and how heavy the material is that was used. Enclosures for the Yamaha Rhino and Polaris Ranger are typically cheaper than the other UTV models since they were first to market and more popular.
