Beautiful forest scenery, technical rocky sections and several deep stream crossings make up this challenging 7-mile jeep trail. There is no single track however there are some areas that could easily pass for a black diamond rating. Most of the rocky sections have a less direct line to take however novices should be advised to not attempt this trail since it may be necessary to turn around. Near the end of the trail towards Hermit Valley Campground is a very steep and rocky section with loose dirt which can be very challenging going back up.
