2006 Honda CRF 450R Bike Build
It’s winter time now and we’ve got our project lined up to keep us busy in the shop. We’ll be restoring a 2006 Honda CRF 450R and turning it into an enduro race bike, it’s going to be epic!
A little background about the bike:
This bike was bought new by a friend of ours that raced motocross. At the end of the season he sold it to my best friend in immaculate condition. My best friend rode it a handful of times and it mostly sat in the garage untouched. Then my best friend’s cousin bought the bike and he ended up piling it up into a car while he was riding it on the road (it’s not street legal). So then, that guy sold it back to my best friend on a fire sale deal.
My best friend has had the bike for over a year now and I told him I wanted to use it for a bike build for the website. We both agreed we wanted to turn it into an enduro bike and set it up for trail riding and then we plan on entering some races this season. Well, the day has finally come.
I’ll be posting all the progress on the bike as we go, along with creating videos and product reviews on parts and accessories from the Bike Build Sponsors.
